The food is great, 5 star for the food. But I only go to the restaurant that is on the 2nd floor right next to the ramp from the parking area. The stores are not for me.
El Mercadito is an amazing place not only because of the plethora of restaurants, entertainment and stores but also because it's a diverse market from a tightly knit community that is Latino-owned.
This is a fun place to visit lots to see lots of merchandise lots of food I took my out-of-town guests here they were more than impressed
A great place for shopping if you're in East LA. Free parking, and easy access. Be advised that some prices are more expensive near the entrance as opposed to in the middle of the market so compare prices before buying.
If you havent tried these while visiting el mercadito youre missing out. Tacos de birria estilo Tijuana. Amazing deal at $3 each taco.
Have a craving? This is the place to take care of it! Couple of things I keep coming back for.. #1 the Birria Tacos!! Sooo Good! The place where I get them from is on the right side as soon as u enter.. and 2nd.. the Raspados they have natural fruit raspados delish! I wish I had a pic of it but it was soo good I drank it before I even thought of the picture ????????
Our first time there after visiting Los Angeles many, many times. We didn’t know about this place until my wife saw an instagram video about it. So we went and it was like visiting Tijuana and Rosarito again. Nice place to visit.
You don't have to go to Mexico to get casuelas tortilla maker and mocajete .boots herbs food you name It they have it.

Great place to find Mexican stuff, from traditional Mexican attires, mole pastes, spices and of course good food. Parking lot is a bit small therefore is highly recommended to arrive early. They have live entertainment in the evening hours. Overall a good place to have a good time.
